I am a structural engineer and postdoctoral researcher working at the intersection of advanced structural systems, adaptive infrastructure, and AI/ML in structural engineering. My work moves between research laboratories and real-world projects—from deployable origami structures and fiber-optic sensing to high-rise towers, historic restorations, and institutional buildings.

Structures that deploy, sense, and adapt.
My research develops structures that can deploy, sense, adapt, and use fewer resources. I combine experimental testing, computational mechanics, structural dynamics, optimization, and AI/ML in structural engineering with life-cycle assessment to translate bio-inspired concepts into resilient and sustainable infrastructure.

Project Engineer at Datum Engineers and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I also contribute to AI implementation, research and development, and campus recruitment at Datum Engineers.
